HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELVIA

So today is my cousin Melvia's 24th birthday! YAY....thank you Jesus for allowing her to see another birthday. Often we forget that it is a true blessing from God that we are still here. I love God so much and and thankful for all the things that he has done for me and allows for me to do. I pray that my Cousin Melvia will begin to build a closer relationship with him. As we get older the more we learn to do better as Christians. Often times we might not include God into our everyday life... But we SHOULD! I am learning that more and more everyday, because at the end of the day....God is the only one there with you and for you (i know we can't see him but he comforting love is always surrounding us). I am excited to see Melvia today...We are going to hang out! WOOHOO.....although I know that birthdays should not be glorified more then God...BUT I think it is good to celebrate the blessings that God has given us and allowing us to see another YEAR! So many people don't SO....why not celebrate!? LOL My cousin and I have been through many ups and many downs together, but we are still there for each other and love each other in spite of what may have happened....and even though we don't talk everyday because of our busy lives but that doesn't change my love for her. I love you Melly Mel!! lol Hope you have fun ALL WEEK!

HOMEWORK!! the art of procrastination....

Well Well Well....here I am again on a Monday doing homework that is due today. Why do I always do this to myself...well mostly because I don't like doing homework on the weekends... I want that to be a day of fun, caking, and resting!! SOooooOOOoo Homework gets done during the week! Now I must say that I thought I was a procrastinator...but my DEAR DEAR friend Kelly...wooo puts that icing on the cake! LOL thats one of the many reasons I think her and I are such good friends....we know how to wait til the last minute and GET IT DONE!!! YEA! lol Now this homework thats due tonight...hmm i hate it...but I am almost done...I had to take a break to do a little blogging. I will get it together eventually! I wish the topics were not so hard. I mean I do get to pick my own topic...but its what I have to do with the topic that sucks! I hate RESEARCH DESIGN and METHODOLOGY!!!! Hmm....well That is all I must get back to the business!!!

My Friend TIna! lol

Okay I know she's gonna be MAD, but I am a good friend and I love her anyway! But....Tina and her Boo (shamu) aren't together right now...for reasons that are needed to be mentioned...but I think that they just needed a little time...he will get better! I am on TEAM MArcus! LOL he loves her, cares about her, respects her, and would do anything for her....PLUS he's hilarious!! All guys are DUMB sometimes...so you will never find one that doesn't make a mistake...but that doesn't mean that they aren't the one! I think Marcus will realize a lot from this break and you guys will be together again soon! YAY!!! Watch my predictions!!!

SNOW DAY???

Well I had to come on here this morning and blog about my Dedicated school! City Mission! Now I know that MOST of the people live right in the neighborhood BUT so do other kids within the public schools! I mean GOSH...its bad out why do we need school...no kids hardly show up anyway so it turns into a DAYCARE instead of a school...how can you only teach 3 kids? lol Yes thats how many showed up on the last snow day! AHHH....LOL I live on the east side...I can't drive all the way there and not worry about getting crashed by these non-drivers out here! My Job needs to know that sometimes snow days are okay and take them. If something were to happen then you would of thought...hmm maybe we should have taken that snow day! JUST MAYBE lol...I'm not mad...I am just stating the facts! The Weather is bad!!!

They didn't make books like this for nothing! LOL SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!

Car Troubles....

AHHHHHH! ITS CRAZY MAN!!..... I dont want to have car troubles but I have them...UGH!!! I hate it...its such an inconvenience!! Sooo I have to take it to the shop in the morning...I am going to be late for work! (that part doesnt upset me) lol Naw but my parents have to drop me of..That hasn't happened in soo long!!!!! LOL Well I pray that everything will be fine! I just hope I won't be coming out of a lot of money! Craig Food

Craig Menu: 1200 calories a Day!!

Sooo All of my friends know that I start Jenny craig at the end of December...Yes before new years!! and YES!!! I cheated!!!! lol but i still lost 3 lbs!! Well I actually like the food! It allows me to eat everything that I love!!! Look at the Menu!


I Lost 14.2 lbs on Jenny Craig...Im on week 8!!!! I wish I had a before an after picture!! I have two more weeks left...and Im suppose to lose 20lbs lol That means I need to lose at least 3 this week and 3 next week...I think I can do it! I just need to stop being so lazy and start exercising!!!
I have these turbo jam tapes that are really fun!!! I do the cardio party!!! its 40 minutes of fun!! LOL . Then theres a 20 min one that I try to do in the morning! HMM...that happened twice I think. But I am still proud of myself for waking up early and doing it!

Dwight and I

My baby Noah!!

So my good friend Kelly married a black man...and created a beautiful LOVE child (lol) named Noah! He is a true blessing from God and I love him so much! But anyway I am now claiming him as my baby! Cause he looks like me!!! LOL Kelly knows this....and she doesn't mind it!! So here is my Baby NOAH!!!! :)









Here is a picture of his real mommy and my friend Kelly. I met her at City Mission. She is such a great friend! She listens to me ramble all the time and I do the same for her. God put her in my life for a Reason and I am thankful for her! She is the first and only friend that I have ever prayed with (not including grace over food). YAY Kelly!!!

LOL I caught her off guard with this one! DOn't be mad Kelly! Your still cute...BTW she's preggers can you tell?? She was about 3 or 4 months here! Cute dress! But she can't fit it now!!!

Forgiveness

I was once told by someone that when you forgive someone it is not for them..its for you! That is so true. When you have anger in your heart towards someone for doing something to you it messes you up. You go on everyday upset about it, its the only thing that consumes your thoughts, it takes over you. No one should have that type of power over you...of course you can't help it, but eventually you MUST get over that BULL because nobody deserves your peace, joy, and happiness. Once you've forgiven a person it feels like a big bus has been lifted off of you. You no longer think about it and your happy again. Of course we are not perfect and it is hard to forgive people for hurting us, but when you know that God has your back and that he's there for you and that he's going to pull you up out of that situation theres no need to be angry. God is forgives us over and over for constantly doing the things we KNOW he doesn't like. The bible tells us to be more like Jesus and having a forgiving heart is something we need to practice. Life is not promise to us, so don't wait until the person is dead and gone to feel sad and yern for that reconciliation...do it now while you can!



Colossians 3:12-14
¹²Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. ¹³Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. ¹⁴And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Luke 17:3-4
³So watch yourselves.
"If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. ⁴If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him."

And just because you forgive someone doesn't mean that you should still be with them or even deal with them. Its very HARD to forgive others but what isn't hard for a believer of Christ?


Also write a letter and let the know that you forgive them, it might help! There are always two sides to every situation and you never know why that person hurt you but you should take into account that there might be a reason....when you write an apology letter for your forgive a person...things begin to reveal itself...making it even easier to forgive them more!

Faithfulness

^{Deuteronomy 11:13-14
13} So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today—to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul- ¹⁴ then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil.

God is great! I never realized it until I got older that some people have a hard time working their faith in God. There might be some doubt. But we should always trust and believe that the Lord will make a way for us, even when it doesn't seem like there is a way. God is always protecting us and keeping us safe everyday that we live.

I am a Teacher and I have 10 students. i actually just got the 10th student a couple of weeks of go. I don't have any pics of her yet but I do of the original 9...These were taken at the beginning of the school year!!! AHH they are like babies!!! LOL Hope you enjoy!

This is my sweet little Breunna...shes only sweet with me though...LOL her mom says that she is bad at home! I would never believe that she doesnt listen! She's my little angel! Oh but she is a needy little one! YES..."Ms Debra, can you please help me!" LOL now I know that it is my job to help and I do, but she always needs me. AND she calls me MOmMa sometimes lol...I love her though shes cute.

New Church...

I am happy now!!! I just found a new church called Awakening Movements...I really like the church! Its so laid back and welcoming. You don't feel obligated to wear dressy clothes and thats great! Cause God aint about that!!! The pastor wears JEANS!!!!! lol Well I like it...I do, but its conflicting because I love my other pastor..but I don't connect there anymore...idk why but oh well! I actually listen and take notes at this other church...and my church I zone out and get bored! I want to want to learn about God and I have it there!!!
I know that when you're raised in a church it is only natural to feel bad when you don't want to attend that church any longer. I haven't been to y church once this year and as the weeks go on I don't feel bad about it. LOL I think that Jesus is happy that I am getting his word!!! Lord I need it!
Anywho...I am happy and hopefully my parents get over the fact that I am at another church. Another plus is that my boyfriend likes it too! Thats always good! I want us to grow together as a couple with God in our lives together! (not apart)
